Amy was the co-founder and director of The Writers WorkSpace, a membership-based, shared writing studio and private meeting space in Chicago for individuals with quiet or writing-related work from 2006 - 2020. She's currently available for consulting and work on related projects, creative mentoring, and workshops.
 

She is also co-author of the book, Art Works: How Making Art Illuminates Your Life (Ganesha Books, 2013), with the School of the Art Institute of Chicago's renowned artist, art therapist, and art educator, Don Seiden. Author Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi says, " . . . Seiden and Davis have achieved a rare expression of deep feeling and deep thought in a simple and elegant volume." Davis' writing has appeared in The Sun, Book magazine, Strong Coffee, and Maxine, among other publications. She was editor-in-chief of the literary magazine Fish Stories: Collectives I-IV and founder of WorkShirts Writing Center.
